Pardon me, but you don't smile anymore
So many things have changed and I wonder...
Why there's nothing in your eyes anymore
What do you do when there’s nothing left inside anymore
There was nothing ever harder than to get up and walk out that door

I took a walk this morning by the river my face in the sun
And I thought to myself it’s a sad day and lonely world...
If you let yourself come undone
You know I’m doing all right now and everyday I wonder about you
And I’m hoping that you smile because the Sun, it shines for you too
